Fourth seed Renta Tokuda of Japan overcame a tough start to beat top seed Karan Singh 6-7(6), 6-1, 6-1 in the final of the $15,000 ITF men’s tennis tournament in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Sunday (May 25, 2025).
The defeat apart, it has been a commendable run by the 21-year-old Karan as he was competing in his third successive singles final in the last three weeks. He had won his maiden singles title last week in Tehran, Iran.
