Rishabh Pant is reportedly set to begin rehabilitation in Bengaluru after fracturing his foot in England. He is expected to return during the West Indies Test series. 

KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj are set to join the India A squad on September 23 for the second multi-day match against Australia A in Lucknow. Rahul, fresh off a successful Test series in England where he scored 532 runs, will strengthen the batting lineup.

Shreyas Iyer will captain the 15-member India A squad against Australia A in Lucknow, with Dhruv Jurel as vice-captain. The series starts September 16. KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj will join the squad for the second match beginning September 23.

Central Zone captain Dhruv Jurel and East Zone skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran are not playing the opening round of their respective Duleep Trophy matches in Bengaluru. In Jurel's absence, Rajat Patidar is leading Central Zone and Riyan Parag is leading East Zone.
